Crucial witness in Philippine bank robbery dies in hospital

Isagani Pastor, marketing manager of Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) branch in Cabuyao, is the 10th person to die in the killing spree at the bank on Friday.

Calamba: The key witness of a bank robbery that turned fatal died in hospital on Sunday, Philippine police said.

Isagani Pastor, marketing manager of Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) branch in Cabuyao, is the 10th person to die in the killing spree at the bank on Friday.

The robbers shot him and nine other people in the head after they barged into the bank. He was found in critical condition and rushed to hospital.

Police said the investigation to find the attackers will continue without Pastor. The brazen killings has enraged Filipinos and resulted in a dismissal of the town police chief.
