Manila: President Benigno Aquino's new date was identified as a 27-year old teacher who also works with young Korean students, a local paper said.

Aquino met Bunny Calica four years ago, but they did not have a chance to see each other again until their date in a band concert in Makati last Monday night, said the Inquirer, adding that Calica's expertise is early education.

"She has a good head on her shoulders … and the daughter of a former Boeing executive," the Inquirer quoted Aquino's sister, TV host and model Kris Aquino, as saying.

On a week-end, before Monday's concert, President Aquino brought Calica for dinner at Dream House, his residence across the river Malacanang, the presidential palace, TV host Aquino revealed, adding the woman wore jeans and a long-sleeved shirt during that week-end dinner-date.

"Are you my tito's girlfriend?" TV host's son "Bimby" also asked Calica.

The one who replied was President Aquino who said, "No, but I hope so." Her own reply was not quoted.

Calica and the president are "not on" yet, the presidential sister said.

At the time, the TV host said she was out of town for five days and her elder sisters were on vacation, that was why her two sons were with their uncle.

Her ex-husband James Yap was also baby-sitting their son Bimby, when the president brought his dinner date at the presidential palace

After Calica's picture landed on the first page of a major broadsheet, President Aquino asked reporters not to pry on his love life.

Dodging his protestations, reporters kept asking him about his "big smile" and "happy, beaming face".

In the past, Aquino was linked to councillor-turned-TV-host Shalani Soledad, stylist Liz Uy, stockbroker Len Lopez, and a Singapore journalist.
