5Washington: US commandos entered Pakistan to attack Al Qaeda targets near the Afghan border.
However the US military stopped short of officially acknowledging that they had any role in an attack on the village of Angor Adda in which 20 people were killed.
Pentagon officials said the raid had targeted suspected Al Qaeda operatives and was part of a new effort to disrupt militant safe havens in Pakistan.
