11.05am: Bhutto's return home will taken even longer than expected. The flight is delayed for over an hour but finally takes off at 11.05am.

12.46pm (UAE time): Emirates flight EK606 touches down at Karachi airport.

1pm (UAE) time: Benazir Bhutto touches the tarmac in Karachi, prays and weeps. She was greeted by senior leaders of her PPP party.

She then spends some time at the airport before boarding an open topped bus to the tomb of Pakistan's founding father, Mohammed Ali Jinnah where she will address a rally of supporters. The sheer number of people on the streets mean the 10 mile journey could take more than 10 hours.
