Sharif to run in parliament by-election
The party of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday its leader in the next parliament will be elected through a by-poll.
Islamabad: The party of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday its leader in the next parliament will be elected through a by-poll.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz information secretary Ahsen Iqbal said the party was confident of winning majority in the February 18 elections. After that, he told the state-run television, the party would remove all hurdles in the way of Sharif to contest. Sharif would be nominated for premier after his election.
