Police say a roadside bomb has exploded near a vehicle carrying police in northwest Pakistan, killing at least two officers and wounding five others.
Peshawar: Police say a roadside bomb has exploded near a vehicle carrying police in northwest Pakistan, killing at least two officers and wounding five others.
Senior police official Ghayoor Afridi said the Thursday attack happened on the outskirts of the city and that the victims have been transported to a hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility, but Taliban militants have carried out numerous attacks targeting Pakistani security forces in recent years.
