PML-N chairman says judiciary is independent

He expressed confidence that the government would not be able to block the return of the two PML-N stalwarts in the changed situation.
The central information secretary of the party, Ahsan Iqbal, asserted that the two political leaders would be in Pakistan well before the elections.
In the past the government has insisted the former prime minister and his family were bound under a deal brokered by Saudi [Arabia] royalty to live in exile for ten years.
Shahbaz, former Punjab chief minister, returned to Pakistan in 2004 but he was forcibly sent back to Saudi Arabia from Lahore airport.
Now living in London, the Sharif brothers have repeatedly vowed they would return to their homeland and lead the campaign of their party for the general election.
