Eight tribal leaders involved in brokering peace between the army and militants have been killed in northwestern Pakistan, a security official said on Monday.
Islamabad: Eight tribal leaders involved in brokering peace between the army and militants have been killed in northwestern Pakistan, a security official said on Monday.
Suspected Islamic militants shot the men in separate attacks late on Sunday and early on Monday in south Waziristan near the Afghan border, the official said.
