Looters desecrating the dead
According to police at least six people were intercepted as they tried to steal mobiles and gold ornaments
Islamabad: Six people were caught stealing valuables from the remains of victims after the plane crash in the Margalla hills overlooking Islamabad, newspaper reports said on Wednesday.
After the private Blueair airline airbus crashed in the hills Wednesday morning killing all 152 people on board, police and rescuers started searching the thickly wooded ravine.
According to police at least six people were intercepted as they tried to steal mobiles and gold ornaments from the crash scene.
A bearded man was spotted trying to take away a human hand bearing gold rings and bangles. When interrogated he told the police he had brought the human part to hand it to the authorities.
