Islamabad: Eight bullet-riddled bodies were found on Sunday in Ziarat and Pishin districts of Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province, local private television channels reported.

According to the reporters all the victims had been shot from close range and they were yet to identified.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the killings.

The south-western mineral-rich province has been plagued for long by a separatist insurgency involving banned militant groups from the ethnic Baloch community.
