Voting under way in Kenyan Presidential elections

Nairobi: Voting is under way in the Kenyan Presidential elections, with more than 14 million people eligible to cast their ballots.

President Mwai Kibaki, who heads the National Unity party, is seeking a second term in power, but the campaign has been dogged by vote rigging claims and killings.

His main rival is former ally Raila Odinga, head of the Orange Democratic Movement party.

Three police officers have died after the opposition alleged that they were carrying pre-marked ballot papers.
