Turkish military strikes PKK target in northern Iraq

The General Staff said the successful air operation was carried out at 1930 GMT.
The Turkish military has this year frequently targeted PKK rebel bases in the mountains of northern Iraq, where several thousand militants are believed to be hiding out.
