Truck accident kills eight in China
Eight people were killed when a loaded cement truck lost control on a mountain road in central China, crashed into a park and ran over more than 20 people, a newspaper said on Tuesday.
Beijing: Eight people were killed when a loaded cement truck lost control on a mountain road in central China, crashed into a park and ran over more than 20 people, a newspaper said on Tuesday.
The accident happened on Saturday in Nanyang, Henan province, during a long weekend.
The driver apparently yelled to people to move out of the way when he realised his brakes had failed, witnesses said.
More than 20 people were run over and ten were injured.
Most of the victims were college students.
