Tibet monks arrested in 'bomb plot'
China says it has arrested nine Tibetan Bhuddist monks for involvement in an alleged bomb attack on a government building.
Beijing: China says it has arrested nine Tibetan Bhuddist monks for their involvement in an alleged bomb attack on a government building.
According to Chinese state media, monks fled a monastery in the Gyanbe township in the Himalayan region after a homemade bomb exploded on March 23. No one died in the blast.
The attack was the first alleged bombing reported in Tibet since anti-China protests began on March 10 in the capital, Lhasa.
