South Ossetian president dismisses government
South Ossetia's self-styled President on Monday dismissed the government of the breakaway republic and declared a month-long emergency, Russian news agencies reported.

Moscow, Russia: South Ossetia's self-styled President on Monday dismissed the government of the breakaway republic and declared a month-long emergency, Russian news agencies reported.
News agency RIA said Eduard Kokoity had sharply criticised his cabinet for their performance during the humanitarian assistance and recovery phase following an August 8 attack on the capital Tskhinvali by Georgian forces.
