Bishkek: At least seven people died and dozens were injured in Kyrgyzstan on Monday when a bus loaded with tourists collided with a car near an alpine lake resort.
The emergencies ministry said the crash occurred near Issyk-Kul, the world's second biggest alpine lake, when a bus loaded with 53 tourists collided with a car.
Regional emergencies ministry chief, Arstan Momokulov, said all the dead were tourists from neighbouring Kazakhstan.
He said dozens of people were rushed to hospitals.
