Kenya's coalition cabinet to be announced
Kenya's long overdue coalition cabinet will be revealed by President Mwai Kibaki on Sunday, after secret talks with opposition leader Raila Odinga ended a six-week deadlock.
Nairobi: Kenya's long overdue coalition cabinet will be revealed by President Mwai Kibaki on Sunday, after secret talks with opposition leader Raila Odinga ended a six-week deadlock.
A statement released by Kibaki's office said: "A breakthrough was made in the talks and President Kibaki and Hon. Raila agreed to the announcement of the cabinet today."
The announcement is due to take place at State House in Nairobi at 4pm (1300 GMT).
