Helicopter crash kills Chile official
The Chilean government has declared three days of mourning after the police chief and 10 other people were killed in a helicopter crash in Panama City.

It was not immediately known what caused the crash that killed Chilean police chief General Jose Alejandro Bernales on Thursday.
Bernales's wife was also among the dead. The group had been attending a regional forum in Colon when their helicopter slammed into a building.
The helicopter broke in half with the impact and set the building on fire, witnesses said.
