'Give me a wife and I'll vote'
"I will say ‘Yes'. That is easy. But, you have to find me a woman whom I can marry," Ömer Sosyal, 96, told Suat Kiniklioglu, a deputy with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) when the politician asked him what his vote would be, Turkish media reported.

Manama: "Give me a wife and I will vote in favour of the constitutional reforms," an elderly Turkish man told the ruling party.
"I will say ‘Yes'. That is easy. But, you have to find me a woman whom I can marry," Ömer Sosyal, 96, told Suat Kiniklioglu, a deputy with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) when the politician asked him what his vote would be, Turkish media reported.
Kiniklioglu, also the deputy chairman of the ruling party's foreign relations department, was on a tour to urge the public to approve the government-led constitutional amendment package.
Soysal, who lives in the Central Anatolian province's Kizilirmak district, was determined to receive a positive answer from the politician. "I cannot live all by myself any more. No one is helping me on the issue."
There were no reports on what Kiniklioglu told Soysal after hearing his request.
