Ghana's opposition leader sworn in as president
According to reporters Ghana's President John Kufuor handed over power to opposition John Atta Mills on Wednesday at a ceremony in the capital Accra.
Accra: According to reporters Ghana's President John Kufuor handed over power to opposition John Atta Mills on Wednesday at a ceremony in the capital Accra.
Mills beat Nana Akufo-Addo, the chosen candidate of Kufuor's ruling party, by less than 0.5 percent of votes in a presidential run-off last week. President John Kufuor is stepping down after serving the maximum two four-year terms.
