- British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Danish Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, back right, attend the royal gala dinner hosted by the Queen of Denmark, during the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009.
Copenhagen: The UN climate talks are running into serious problems, just hours before President Barack Obama and other world leaders are scheduled to gather for their climate summit.
Swedish Environment Minister Andreas Carlgren, a European Union spokesman, says an agreement to be presented to the leaders has not yet emerged because of continued contention between developing and developed nations.
Carlgren says it's now "up to world leaders" to reach an accord in Copenhagen.
Other delegates also report continued disputes in the closed negotiating session on Friday.
