Air France has expressed its "sincere condolences" to families of the 228 people aboard a jet that disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean.
Paris: Air France has expressed its "sincere condolences" to families of the 228 people aboard a jet that disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Brazilian and French military are searching for the plane after it lost contact with ground controllers en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.
Officials have not commented on the possibility that there are no survivors in the mysterious disappearance Monday of the passenger jet.
Air France said in a statement that it expressed "its sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the passengers and crew members" aboard flight 447.
Air France said it is "mobilised" to help the families and is offering psychological assistance to them.
