Colombo: A blast rocked a passenger bus on the southern outskirts of the Sri Lankan capital on Saturday morning, injuring at least 18 people, a military official said.
Passengers were evacuated from the bus after the crew raised the alarm over a suspicious parcel left inside the vehicle, military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said.
The blast occurred outside a court house, he said.
