Bhopal: After WikiLeaks revealed that Dow Chemicals was using a spy to keep a watch on activists fighting for the cause of the Bhopal gas tragedy, the activists said they were not surprised to hear the news.

"We are not surprised about what Dow is doing. Everyone knows what kind of company Dow is, seeing their history across the world," activist Satinath Sarangi told IANS here.

"Moreover, Stratfor is not only watching activists' activities against Dow but is peeking into their personal lives too," Sarangi claimed.

"The organisers of the London Olympics and Dow have been constantly saying that the company has nothing to do with the Bhopal gas tragedy. But this [WikiLeaks'] information clearly shows once again that Dow is involved as it is concerned about its business interests," activist Abdul Jabbar said.
