Sydney: Two people were killed and at least three injured after a boat refuelling in Melbourne harbour exploded on Saturday, Australian authorities said.
The boat had just refuelled at Pier 35, in Lorimer Street, Port Melbourne. A man and a woman were killed, according to the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, while two women and one man had been taken to hospital.
The explosion comes just days after five people were killed and nine injured on Sydney Harbour when an overcrowded stolen boat and a fishing trawler collided.
