Taliban kill 11 policemen
Taliban insurgents attacked a checkpoint in the south of Afghanistan and killed 11 policemen, according to police.
Kandahar: Taliban insurgents attacked a checkpoint in the south of Afghanistan and killed 11 policemen, according to police.
A police official said the insurgents opened fire early on Monday in the Arghandab district of Kandahar province. He said one of the policemen had links with the Taliban.
Police vehicles and weapons were also seized by the attackers, according to officials.
