A roadside bomb has left at least ten police dead in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar, police said on Sunday.

The device hit their vehicle during a patrol late on Saturday, killing the officers, Kandahar's provincial chief said.
This is one of the deadliest attacks by insurgents in recent days where violence has been surging.
