An Italian soldier has been killed and another injured when gunmen opened fire on them in Afghanistan.

Kabul: An Italian soldier has been killed and another injured when gunmen opened fire on them in Afghanistan.

The shooting took place around 60km from the capital Kabul on Wednesday.
