8 dead in Afghan car bomb attack
At least eight people have died in a car bomb attack at a farmers' market, according to a police official.
Kandahar: At least eight people have died in a car bomb attack at a farmers' market, according to a police official.
The attack, which occurred in Gereshk district, wounded 17 people, including five children.
Police accused Taliban insurgents for carrying out the attack, adding that there were no security forces in the area at the time.
