Herat: Seven people, including two children, were killed in an air strike in the western Afghan province of Farah on Friday, a district official said, adding that the raid was aimed at the house of a Taliban commander.
There was no immediate comment from the US-led coalition.
Farah adjoins Herat where the Afghan government says more than 90 civilians were killed in a US-led coalition air strike last month, a figure disputed by the US military.
