Sharjah: An elite group of experts and specialists in copyright, intellectual property, library affairs and publication law, will discuss the prospects for the publishing industry and challenges in the digital age during the third Arab Publishers Conference.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the two-day event on November 2 and 3 will be held at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre and bring together more than 50 Arab and international speakers alongside 250 participants.
The speakers and participants taking part in the conference sessions will cover varied topics including libraries, education, intellectual property rights, digital piracy, online distribution, freedom to publish, translation, Arabic language, and development of the publishing industry and content.
