Ajman: The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has announced the launch of an Ajman Visitors’ Guide in Braille, the tactile writing system used by the blind and visually impaired.

It follows the directions of His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

Aimed at assisting tourists and residents who are blind or visually impaired to get information on tourist destinations when visiting the emirate, the guides are written in English and Arabic in collaboration with Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs in Abu Dhabi.
