Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Cables & Metals has bagged a Dh20 million contract for supply of power cables to UAE's AbdulJalil Industrial Development, part of the Al Fahim Group.

The contract was signed earlier this week between Dr. Fadi Semaan, general manager, sales and marketing for the UAE with the Saudi company, and Aamer Al Fahim, managing director of Al Fahim Group.

AbdulJalil Industrial Development has also been appointed prime distributor in Dubai by Riyadh Cables & Metals, the largest electrical cable manufacturer in the Middle East with annual sales exceeding Dh1.5 billion.

It is also the third largest exporter in the Gulf, after Saudi companies, Aramco and Sabic.

The company's product range includes low, medium and high voltage cables, data and telephone cables, flexible and building wires and fibre optic cables.
