Remembering those who’ve been lost:
Cyclist Dave Knight passed away on November 4, 2011 after being hit by a car. According to Knight’s tribute page on the Dubai Roadsters website, www.dubairoadsters.com, he was out for his usual Friday ride, and while biking along Dubai Bypass Road alone, back towards Al Qudra - Umm Suqeim turn off he was hit by a car at the Global Village turn off.
Adam Pollack, a Dubai-based cyclist and member of Dubai Roadsters, passed away on October 15, 2010, from injuries sustained after his bicycle collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was also killed in the tragic accident.
