Dubai: Dubai Municipality will publish a book on its history entitled History and Achievements of Dubai Municipality 1954 - 2011.
A team has been formed to collect data and documents about the municipality including its history, stages of development, its decision to appoint the chairman, the director generals, their names and the number of employees since its inception to 2011.
The book will also show the evolution of the organisation, functions and responsibilities, engineering structure and stages of establishment and development of various municipal buildings.
