Dubai: A total of 4,250 iftar food packets have been distributed by Dubai Municipality to its workers every day since the start of Ramadan.
The distribution is organised annually, with the support of different charitable organisations in Dubai.
The food packets are distributed in workers' accommodation in Muhaisna, Uwai and Al Quoz by the Municipality's housing and internal transportation section of its human resource department. The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, Dubai, is also involved in the programme.
Scholars
It is providing scholars to deliver Islamic lectures in different languages for inhabitants of workers' accommodation.
It also honours the participants and winners of the Quran memorisation programme, which has been organised for workers.
