Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a telephone call from US President Barack Obama, who offered condolences on the martyrdom of a number of Emirati soldiers while participating in the Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

Obama expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the UAE leadership, people and martyrs’ families.

Shaikh Mohammad thanked Obama for his faithful and noble sentiment. During the phone conversation, the two leaders discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the US, as well as their countries’ efforts to ensure security and stability in the region and countering challenges that threaten the strategic and regional security.
