“We believe in Allah and his justice and we accept whatever comes from Him, whether it is good or bad. It is a trial from him and we pray to Allah to give the dead peace and give us patience,” said Salim Al Aduwi, son-in-law of Saif Abdullah Al Kaabi.

“It’s a wound that will not be healed so soon. But these are the things you cannot control, whatever Allah wills happens. We all have to depart one day,” said Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Kaabi, nephew of Saif Abdullah Al Kaabi.

“He was full of life and dreams and he was always fun to have around. His energy would rub on everyone who are with him. I just can’t believe he is no more, I don’t have words to say,” said Rashid Saeed — a cousin who grew up with Mohammad Al Kaabi.

“The family were really very happy here, they had not long ago built their house. This loss is a real loss to Al Ain,” family’s neighbour.

“UAE residents travelling by land to other countries in the Gulf should pay attention to traffic laws in places they are visiting for their own safety as well as that of others,” Ministry of Interior.
