Emirati innovators to give keynote speeches

The forum reflects the objectives of the Abu Dhabi 2030 Economic Vision and the mission of the Khalifa Fund.

Abu Dhabi: The first Abu Dhabi Innovation Forum 2010, scheduled to take place on January 11-12 will introduce two Emirati innovators from the panel of keynote speakers.

The Abu Dhabi Innovation Forum, presented by the Abu Dhabi University and Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, is an event made specifically for local businesses and associations and academic and government heads from all sectors responsible for building a culture of innovation. The forum reflects the objectives of the Abu Dhabi 2030 Economic Vision and the mission of the Khalifa Fund.

Omran Al Hallami, chairman of the Al Hallami Group, and Ali Al Saloom, one of the fastest rising media stars and public speakers in the Gulf, will headline the forum. Both will tackle issues on bringing innovation to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. "Innovation is becoming increasingly essential in organisations and companies across the world. This forum hopes to seek the best practices from our worldwide leading innovators which will allow the country to be regarded as one of the world's best five governments. [The] support of Shaikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, clearly shows how the government is actively looking for ways to promote the economic development of Abu Dhabi."
