Dubai: The opening of the 18th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is coming very soon with all its fun, festivities and various events to add more glamour to the city of Dubai on January 3, 2013.

Dubai is getting ready to celebrate the joyous occasion of DSF with a range of events, as both residents and visitors to the UAE will have the opportunity to enjoy the DSF events all over the city.

Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), an agency of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai (DED) is organising the DSF celebrations, and preparing a slew of events, both outdoors and indoors, which promise to be exciting and thrilling. The celebrations include live performances, concerts, plays, fireworks displays, and much more.

Shopping malls and retail outlets across Dubai are also preparing for shopping discounts and offers during the festival.

While the entire city is being lit up and decorated in bright colours for the biggest celebration in Dubai, there will be six main destinations for DSF 2013. They are the four creekside venues of the Festival Promenade at Dubai Festival City, the Al Seef Street area, the Creek Park and the Heritage and Diving Village, as well as Al Riqqa Street and Downtown Dubai.
