Dubai: Dubai Foundation for Woman and Children (DFWAC) and Dar Al Ber Society launched a campaign on Wednesday to raise donations for abused children exposed to violence and exploitation.
The campaign which is called Qorat Al A’yn (Which means the apple of one’s eye in Arabic) aims to rehabilitate and support these children so that they can become a vital member of society and their families.
The launch of the initiative comes in line with UAE’s Humanitarian Day which marks the ninth death anniversary of Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan on Ramadan 19 and comes in cooperation with Dubai Media Incorporated and Noor Dubai TV.
The donations collected will go towards improving the quality of services provided by rebuilding DFWAC’s woman and children shelter in order to provide them with a safe environment free of violence.
