Abu Dhabi Duty Free's Big Ticket raffle draw winners were announced today for the month of January producing the raffle's first grand prize winner to come from the Philippines.
Victor Cabote Arogar, 33, a senior technician resident in Abu Dhabi for seven years, bought his lucky ticket at Abu Dhabi International Airport before taking his vacation last month. Arogar is married and has one daughter on whom he intends to invest the Dh1 million for her education.
“I am very thankful and happy for the draw's result. I really could not believe it at first when I received the call telling me I was the grand prize winner!'' said Arogar.
“The popularity of the Big Ticket continues to grow and we are pleased to see a fair mix of visitors to the UAE along with residents taking their chance to become Abu Dhabi Duty Free's monthly millionaire,'' said Dan Cappell, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Duty Free.
In addition to Airport locations in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, customers can also buy their tickets at the City Terminal in Abu Dhabi City (opposite the Beach Rotana Hotel), the Ghweifat land-border shop between the UAE and KSA and online at www.addf.ae.
