Firefighters battled the blaze for two hours and brought it under control
Sharjah: A big fire broke out at a scrap warehouse in Sharjah Industrial area 10 on Tuesday morning, an eyewitness has said.
Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the site of the incident as Sharjah firefighters worked to battle the fire.
The fire, which is believed to have started at 11:30am, was quickly brought under control by before it could spread to adjacent premises.
It is still not clear if anyone was injured from the fire.
“The fire broke out at a metal Scrap warehouse at around 11:30 pm. Firefighters controlled the blaze quickly,” said the eyewitness.
