Ajman: A fire broke out in a warehouse in Al Jurf Industrial Area in Ajman on Wednesday afternoon. There were no injuries.
Lieutenant-Colonel Raed Obaid Al Za’abi, deputy director of the Stations Department in Ajman Civil Defence, said they were alerted about the fire in the warehouse at 2.42pm. He said firefighters arrived at the location within a few minutes and quickly doused the blaze.
The fire resulted in damage to some goods stored in the structure and the site was handed to investigators to determine the source of the fire.
Lt-Col Al Za’abi reminded the public to report fires or emergencies to authorities by calling 997.
