Dubai: Emirati twin sisters died when in a fire broke out in a villa in Al Twar area, Dubai Civil Defence said on Tuesday.
According to a spokesman the 20-year-old sisters died as a result of suffocation in the thick smoke caused by the fire.
“The twin sisters died and a baby and a housemaid were injured in the fire,” the spokesman said.
The fire broke out in the villa in Al Twar 3 in Al Qusais area in Dubai at 10.47am, and civil defense teams arrived at 10.52am to control the fire.
