Sharjah: A new customer service centre opened at Sharjah Civil Defence on Wednesday morning.

The centre was opened by Major General Jasem Mohammad Al Marzouqi, head of the civil defence of the Ministry of the Interior

The centre will provide a full service including major electronic services.

Employees at the centre will provide information to the public as well as help them complete their transactions

“Offering a one-stop shop approach to access our services has always been high on our agenda. I am sure that this new addition to the building will enhance all the facility has to offer to the wider community.” Major General Al Marzouqi said.

“We are always looking for the opportunity to engage with the public and this is part of that,” he added.

He urged employees to deal with clients in a polite way and listen to their feedback.

The opening was attended by number of senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and Sharjah Civil Defence including Brigadier Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Director- General of Sharjah Civil Defence, Colonel Dr Jasem Al Mutrib, Director of the civil protection and fire safety department and Colonel Khalid Bin Kanoun Al Shamsi, Director of the centres.
