Dubai: Four pupils were injured in traffic accident between a school bus and a truck on Etihad road, Dubai Police said on monday.
Brigadier said Muhair al Mazroui, director of traffic Dept in Dubai Police, told Gulf News that the accident happened in the morning when the truck hit the bus.
“One pupil was seriously injured and treated in hospital. The others were treated on site. The cause of the accident was not leaving a safe distance between the vehicles,” Brig Al Mazroui said.
Meanwhile, a truck loaded with olive oil flipped over at an Enoc petrol station on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road after Ras Al Khor Bridge towards Sharjah due to sudden swerving and losing control as the truck was entering the station. No injuries were recorded.
