Polio vaccination campaign begins in camps

Abu Dhabi: The Medical Centre of the Emirati-Jordanian Camp, located in Mrajeeb Al Fhood, began a polio vaccination campaign for children in the camp.

Dr Ebrahim Al Shamsi, Director of the Medical Centre at the camp, said that the required coordination was carried out with the Jordanian Ministry of Health and Unicef for the implementation of the campaign, which will vaccinate children — newborn to five years old — against polio.

The Syrian refugees whose children have been vaccinated, expressed their thanks for the generous campaign to the camp’s administration and Jordan.
