Police investigate after young Emirati’s body is found in Fujairah house

Fujairah: Police in Fujairah are investigating the death of a 19-year-old Emirati who was found dead in his bed in his family house in Dibba Al Fujairah on Friday morning.

Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Al Hassani, Director of the Media and Public Relation Department of Fujairah Police, told Gulf News the deceased’s family discovered the incident when they entered his room to wake him up. The man did not respond to his family, and he was taken to Dibba Al Fujairah hospital by national ambulance at a round 10 am.

The Police office at the hospital informed the Police operations room of the incident.

A Police team, CID and forensic experts went to the hospital to investigate the incident. The body was transferred to a forensic laboratory for autopsy to determine the cause of death.

An investigation is ongoing.
