Ajman: Ajman Police revealed the identity of the boy whose body was found floating in the sea and recovered by Ajman Civil Defence.
The body belonged to a nine-year-old Pakistani boy.
The family of the boy filed a missing case with Ajman Police on Sunday.
The boy went with his friend to swim in the sea in a prohibited area.
The police received information about the boy drowning in the sea after his friends failed to rescue him.
A search operation was launched and the body was found floating by a Civil Defence team.
The body was moved to Khalifa Hospital and later handed over to his family for burial.
The police urged parents to monitor their children and never allow them to go to the sea alone.
